Good News and Appreciation Action for Mark Pocan!
Reps. Mike Gallagher, R-Wisconsin’s 8th District, and Mark Pocan, D-Wisconsin’s 2nd District participated in a discussion of shared values and ideals at the Appleton History Museum at the Castle last Tuesday called "Bridging the Gap" politics are polarized but citizens don’t have to be. Wisconsin Public Television live-streamed the event and you may watch it here. I was excited to hear about this event and associated exhibit. Hope you will be too. I watched the recording yesterday - really enjoyed it and plan to watch it again. We are working on a bipartisan solution to climate change so it would be really good to recognize and appreciate Rep Mark Pocan for his efforts in this area. The calling and writing tools are helpful - just change the script.

Hello CCL Members and Friends,
First - Your actions are needed to support the Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act. Simple things that just take a few minutes are important and helpful. Such as
- Call Rep. Mark Pocan and ask him to co-sponsor the bipartisan Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act of 2019, H.R. 763. Calling tool with all the info needed here.
- and/or Write Rep. Mark Pocan and ask him to co-sponsor the bill. All that you need to do that you can find here.
- First priority is to call and write Rep. Pocan as we would like him to co-sponsor the bill that already been reintroduced. That said our goal is to have a companion bill reintroduced in the Senate by June of this year so we need to support this bill with our Senators too.
- It is helpful to hear about any actions that you take whether those listed above or others of any kind - so if it works for you to let me know that would be great!
